　　一、要求

　　《泛讀》是英語教育專業的一門重要課程，該課程要求學生通過大量的閱讀實踐，掌握基本的閱讀技巧（skimming，scanning以及根據上下文判斷詞義的能力），培養語感，提高理解能力和閱讀速度，培養細致觀察語言的能力和分析、歸納、假設、判斷、推理論證等邏輯思維能力，擴大詞匯量，進一步拓寬背景知識，即所學語言國家的政治、經濟、哲學、歷史、地理以及風土人情等方面的知識。

　　二、考試內容

　　本課程考試分兩次進行，所選篇目的重點在于閱讀理解，在于能力的培養，除指定的范圍和文章中反復出現的常用詞匯以及學員應掌握的基本詞匯外，學員不必熟記文章中的每一具體細節和所有生詞，考試的題型參照英語閱讀高級教程的練習。
